Water Treatment System

Kiwi Water Systems Inc. (hereinafter KWSI) warrants any kiwi water brand water treatment systems,
having been installed by an officially authorized KWSI Technician, to be free from defects in
workmanship and materials to the original residential purchaser (hereinafter Customer) from the date
of the system purchase. All aspects of the KWSI Warranty are subject to the following terms, limitations
and conditions.

Warranty Duration

This warranty begins at the time of product installation by a qualified Kiwi Water Technician and is
contingent upon the return of a signed Work order Completion. If KWSI Equipment, consisting of the lon
Exchange Resin and Treatment Medias, Controls and Valves, Mineral and Storage Tanks, Pumps and
Switches, Reverse Osmosis Systems (excluding replacement filters and cartridges) and Ultraviolet Lights
(excluding bulbs and sleeves) is determined to have failed as a direct result of a manufacturing defect,
KIWS will, at its discretion, repair or replace the defective part at NO CHARGE to the CUSTOMER
(excluding labor and applicable shipping and handling costs) for the duration of the CUSTOMER’S
ownership of the original equipment (hereinafter “LIFETIME”).

LIMITATIONS OF COVERAGE

KWSI shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damage resulting from the use of the Equipment, and in
no event shall the extent of this Warranty coverage exceed the purchase price of the Equipment.
This Warranty extends only to the original CUSTOMER for damage resulting from defects in materials and
workmanship, and does not include renewable components From Wear and Tear. (Resins, Filter Medias,
O-rings, Filter canisters) The Warranty does not extend to damage caused by CUSTOMER neglect or abuse,
or by accident, or damage caused by abnormal weather conditions, acts of God, vandalism, or
extraordinary circumstances beyond the control of KWSI. This warranty is void if equipment is not
installed by an authorized Kiwi WATER technician, or not operated according to manufacturer’s directions
and recommendations.

Due to the nature of water and the continual variants that affect water quality on a daily bases, KWSI
cannot know the ongoing characteristics of a CUSTOMER’S water supply or water quality. Therefore, KWSI
assumes no liability for the determination of the proper equipment necessary to meet a CUSTOMER’S
requirements, nor does it authorize others to assume such obligations on its behalf.
This Warranty specifically excludes any Equipment which is not KWSI Equipment and installed by an
authorized KWSI Technician. Any tampering or attempted repair performed by anyone other than an
authorized Technician, including the CUSTOMER, voids this Warranty

MISCELLANEOUS

Please retain your original receipt. All claims for Warranty coverage must be accompanied by a copy of the
purchase order including the date of initial installation, and a copy of the Customer’s current utility bill.
KWSI reserves the right to inspect the equipment prior to honoring any Warranty claim
This Warranty gives you specific legal rights. Additionally, you may have other rights which may vary from
state to state.
